Project title: Del-nevis

Description: prototype of a website designed for Iranian teenagers to share their creative writing to create a safe space for healing through art/writing.

Tools: Figma

Design Process:

Design Choice Highlights:

1. Flower rewards:

To encourage positive competition and create incentive, the flower-tap system is implemented. Each user (creative/writer) is given a flower. Flowers are the new “like” system :)

Readers could give flowers to creative pieces they like. Only users can see their own number of flowers received; it is to encourage competing with oneself rather than with each other.

2. Color choices:

The mood I was trying to create was calm, engaging, and light. Below are examples of color iterations that I went through.

3. Corner Radii:

Following the same reasoning as creating a calm and welcoming mood, corner radiuses are increased for all boxes, and containers. There are no sharp edges in the design of the website. This is to unconsciously encourage flexibility, and openness in the design.
